The positions, names, countries and types of every dive site on Diver Earth form our open location layer. Because it is derived in part from OpenStreetMap, we publish it under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0, and anyone may use it on the same terms.

What's in it
- One GeoJSON point per published site: id, slug, name, aliases, country, types, and the OpenStreetMap / Wikidata records it came from.
- Regenerated every time the pipeline publishes.
What's not
Our knowledge layer (depths, levels, seasons, marine life, wreck history, descriptions, temperatures, photos curation) is sourced separately and is not part of this dataset. Personal data never is.
