Jackson Reef is a reef, wall and drift dive site in Egypt, in the Gulf of Aqaba. A Cypriot cargo ship ran aground on the reef and sank here in 1981. It is accessed by boat and rated for advanced divers. It is known for a comparatively high chance of seeing hammerhead sharks; scalloped hammerhead sharks are among the species occasionally seen. Whitetip reef sharks, turtles and reef fish are resident, while manta rays, spotted eagle rays, humphead wrasse, giant grouper, bigeye trevally and great barracuda are occasionally seen.
