Manta Point is a reef and drift dive site in Indonesia, in the Flores Sea. It lies within Komodo National Park and is accessed by boat. It is rated for beginners, though current here is variable. Reported depths range from about 5 to 15 metres, with sources giving minimums of 5 or 8 metres and maximums of 12 or 15 metres. Best months are reported as October to May. It has a reputation among divers as a leading site in the park for pelagic species. Rules call for keeping a distance of at least 3 metres from mantas. Reef manta rays are resident at the site. Oceanic manta rays, reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, turtles, giant trevally and nudibranchs are occasionally seen.
