Steve's Bommie is a pinnacle dive site within Australia's Great Barrier Reef, reached by liveaboard. The site takes its name from a marble plaque commemorating 'Steve', fixed at twenty-two metres. Bigeye trevally, cephalopods and nudibranchs are resident on the bommie. Clown anemonefish, peacock mantis shrimp, rays, reef stonefish, sea snakes, seahorses and pipefish, and spotted wobbegongs are occasionally seen. Dwarf minke whales pass through seasonally, in June and July.
